THE 11th INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON NON-MOTOR DYSFUNCTIONS IN PARKINSON'S DISEASE AND RELATED DISORDERS, NMDPD 2016, is a multidisciplinary educational forum that offers unparalleled access to the latest discoveries and developments in the etiology and therapy of non-motor features in Parkinson’s and other neurodegenerative diseases. NMDPD 2016 will be the center for deliberation on cognitive decline and psychiatric manifestations of brain diseases defined by movement disorders, as well as their other non-motor manifestations. In addition, this Parkinson’s congress provides major networking opportunities with leading neurologists, neuroscientists and related specialists from around the world.

U Rijeci i na otoku Rabu, u trajanju od 24. do 26. travnja 2015. godine održat će se 5. studentski kongres neuroznanosti. Pozvani su svi studenti koji se bave znanstveno-istraživačkim radom u neuroznanosti, od neuroanatomije, neurofiziologije, neurofarmakologije preko neurologije i psihijatrije do psihologije i svih ostalih područja koja u najširem smislu proučavaju ljudski mozak i njegovu funkciju, da aktivno sudjeluju na NeuRi 2015. Organizatori su pripremili tri dana bogatog znanstveno-stručnog i društvenog programa. Domaćin je studentska udruga FOSS MedRi i Medicinski fakultet Sveučilišta u Rijeci, a radna subota biti će u rapskoj Psihijatrijskoj bolnici – jednoj od najreprezentativnijih zdravstvenih ustanova u Hrvatskoj.
U sklopu svečanog otvaranja kongresa, 24. travnja plenarno predavanje pod naslovom "Macro- and microarchitecture of cognitive processing" održat će prof. dr. sc. Goran Šimić s Hrvatskog instituta za istraživanje mozga Medicinskog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu.
